Swim and Lifesaving Instructor

Swim and Lifesaving Instructors are responsible for teaching and evaluating candidates participating in the Swim for Life ® and Canadian Swim Patrol Programs. The Swim Instructor course prepares Instructors to level 1 leadership competencies and strategies while teaching and evaluating.

Prerequisite(s): minimum 15 years old, Bronze Cross or higher (need not be current). : CPR Instructor is recertified in this course.

Instructors will be appointed as Examiners by the Branch.

Certification Currency: 2 years form the date of recertification.
