The Home Alone Program is designed to provide children 10 years of age and older with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone for short periods of time. It will help them understand how to prevent problems, handle real-life situations, and keep them safe and constructively occupied.
The course material covers such topics as:

• Establishing a routine
• House Key is your responsibility
• Strangers
• Telephone
• Emergencies
• Basic First Aid
• Fire Safety
• Internet Safety

Location: Elevation Place
Pre-requisites: None. Youth must be 10 years old by Dec 31 of the current year.
Equipment Needed: Notebook and pen, manuals will be provided in class and certificated will be awarded at the conclusion of the course. Students may bring a nut free snackand water bottle.
