Parent & Baby Bootcamp

This 60-minute, 6-week postnatal fitness program is designed to help parents safely return to physical activity during the first year after childbirth. Classes include cardiovascular and strength training, core and pelvic floor awareness, and mobility work to help reduce tension and rebuild functional strength. Babies are welcome to attend and may be incorporated into some exercises when appropriate, with alternative equipment and movement options always provided. This all-levels class offers modifications and progressions so each participant can work at a pace that supports their recovery, comfort, and fitness goals.

Location: Canmore Recreation Centre, room 230
Prerequisites: None
Equipment Needed: Participants are welcome to bring their own mat and a blanket for their baby if they wish.
Other Notes: There are no drop-ins for this class and participants need to attend first class.
