Alpenglow- Getting Ready for Kindergarten


The Getting Ready for Kindergarten program invites parents and their preschoolers to attend a fun and educational 2-week program focused on preparing children entering kindergarten at Alpenglow School in September 2026 for the transition to school.

Child & Infant Health and CPR Workshop


A non-certified child and infant health and CPR workshop that covers pertinent day-to-day emergencies that families often experience. Open to parents and caregivers with children ages 0 – 3. 

Circle of Security


Circle of Security is a six-week relationship-based program in Banff designed to enhance attachment security between parents with children ages 0 – 3.

Couples Create & Connect


Create and Connect gives couples with children ages 0 to 6 a chance to enjoy a creative, child-free evening together. Join artsPlace and Family Connection Centre staff for an evening of connection through various art mediums.

Creating Calm: Navigating Sibling Rivalry


Together we will explore the dynamics of sibling rivalry and the strategies to manage it effectively. Parents and Caregivers of children ages 3-6 will learn a variety of tools and approaches to develop and maintain strong sibling bonds in this 2-week program.

Developing Screentime Routines


Join a facilitated discussion on simple strategies for healthy screentime habits and solutions to common challenges. For parents and caregivers of children ages 2-6.

ERS- Getting Ready for Kindergarten

Exploring Your Feelings Through Art


Join us for a playful and creative program in Banff designed to help little ones (ages 4 – 6) explore their big feelings through art! Together with a parent or guardian, children will experiment with a variety of art materials while learning to identify and express emotions in healthy ways.

Feeding Your Baby


Join a Registered Dietitian to learn more about starting solids, first foods, textures, timing and more.

Get Messy


Get Messy is a program where families with children ages 2-6 can explore, create, and get messy without worrying about cleaning up at home. Let’s embrace the mess and celebrate sensory exploration together! 

Guiding Growth: Parenting Skills for Today’s Youth


Empower yourself with knowledge and connection through virtual parent groups focused on real issues affecting youth and teens. Each session focuses on important topics such as digital safety, substance use, and peer pressure, helping parents gain practical tools and strategies to navigate challenges with confidence and resilience. .

Infant Massage Education and Instruction


Learn massage techniques from a local Registered Massage Therapist that can help your infant (0-8 months) overcome struggles with reflux, poor sleep, teething, and digestive distress.

Mini Milestones


Mini Milestones is a 6-week program for parents and caregivers with infants ages 0 – 9 months who are not yet independently mobile (i.e., not crawling or walking). Each week, participants will discuss a unique topic of interest, followed by time to connect.

Mini Milestones: Next Steps


This three-week program is for parents/caregivers with children ages 10 to 18 months who are on the move or nearly mobile. Connect in a supportive group setting while your child explores the Family Connection Centre’s engaging early learning space.

New Parent Café


New Parent Café is a friendly group for parents and caregivers who are Permanent Residents or foreign-born to Canada with children ages 0 to 5. It’s a chance to meet others, share experiences, and learn about parenting.

Parent & Baby Bootcamp


This 6-week parent and baby fitness class lets your non-mobile babies attend while you get in a post-natal workout.

Ready, Set, Go: Toilet Training Workshop


Parents and caregivers with children ages 0 – 6 are invited to join an informative, practical, and interactive toilet training workshop.  

Supporting Toddler Development


This 2-week toddler development program discusses a caregiver’s role in providing an environment that supports healthy toddler development. For parents/caregivers of children ages 18 months to 3 years.

Together in Play


 Parents and caregivers of children aged 3-6 will explore the idea of using play to foster meaningful connections with children. This program will offer ideas and tools on how play can support co-regulation, communication and shared creativity.
